Some editing on the rose bud left removed the background leaves and a spider web.  Right is a view to the south of the Rose Garden.  Top left area on the right photograph are shaded park benches where one can sit and view the garden.  You might want to bring water as Texas spring days become hotter.  Over the years many entertainers have visited Tyler and performed during the Texas Rose Festival.   With over fourteen acres Tyler's Municipal Rose garden is the largest in the nation.  Established in 1952 the garden has over six hundred different varieties of roses.
